Providing Quality and Affordable Legal Services Since 1996
Mr. Salinger developed a love and passion for the criminal justice system while serving an internship with the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. Since his days at the L.A. DA's office Mr. Salinger has continued to make his mark on the criminal justice system by switching sides and representing those accused of crimes. Since switching sides Mr. Salinger has represented defendants who have been charged with penal code and/or vehicle and health safety code violations ranging from DUI's to serious felonies. Having worked on both sides of the aisle, Mr. Salinger has a unique insight and understanding of how both sides look and evaluate the issues.
Mr. Salinger only accepts a limited number of criminal cases at any one time to ensure he has sufficient time and energy for the task of protecting your rights. Here you won't be just another file. Further, all criminal fees are fixed at the time of retention to avoid a situation where a client has to weight additional legal fees when deciding to accept or reject a prosecution offer.
Finally Mr. Salinger is fully aware and sensitive to the embarrassment, fear, stress, and financial burden brought on by arrest and the filing of criminal charges. In negotiating with the prosecution Mr. Salinger is cognizant of not only the immediate consequences such as fines, jail or work project time and length of probation, but also the potential future consequences the client may have to confront. In addition to potential registration requirements, firearm restrictions or other tangible consequences, we evaluate the code sections in consideration for the ability to apply for a reduction (felony to misdemeanor), expungement or other applicable relief that might be available.
